Cruising for a bruisin'

I went on a 10 mile bicycle ride around San Jose yesterday with some friends. It was pretty cool.  A few hills, crazy traffic, a couple trails and MEGA FUN!!! At out furthest location we stopped for the best Michelada I've ever had.  The shrimp was sauteed in some sort of garlic concoction. And they were not greedy with them delicious morsels.

As we cruised on this path near the Guadalupe Creek we saw a mini motorcycle just chilling by itself.  I had to stop and strike a pose.  Hilarious!!!  We later found out it belonged to an old homeless man who lived in the creek.  Whoops!!!!

Yesterday ruled!

Music Madness

I've had a killer last three days.  It started Saturday.

Saturday night after I got off work, The Boyfriend wanted to step out on the town. We decided to cruised over to a local music venue, The Blank Club.

Moment I walked in, I was stoked.

Sunday Night, I saw one of my top five concerts.

The Amazing, Lykke Li at The Fox Theater in Oakland.

I wanted to burst into tears when she surprised the crowd with her cover of, "I'm on Fire" by Bruce Springsteen.

Monday I was surrounded by the unique sound of 

The Raveonettes.  They played at BIMBO's 365 in San Francisco.  Great Venue, I was just feet away.

SOFA STREET FAIR

Sunday Andre' and I checked out The RETURN of SoFa Street Fair.  This is a festival San Jose got rid of back in 98'.  This festival was an awesome rager.  As a teen I looked forward to this madness.  I was impressed by the turn out.  It was "almost" like The Good Ole Days.  Almost.  It was pretty cool to see old school faces and enjoy a shit ton of free live music.
